Classical Guitarist Craig Winston and Vocalist Mark Winston present music from Baroque Mexico to the Early Modern period, featuring works by Santiago de Murcia, Octaviano Yañez, Manuel Ponce and others. The concert will be a musical journey from the 16th century Spanish empire to its colonies in the new world, exploring classical music in New Spain as a European import that evolved into a diverse musical identity representing the vibrant confluence of cultures in the Americas.
