Music from Mexico and Spain for Voice and Guitar by Manuel Ponce. This collection of folk songs from the composers' home countries will showcase guitarists Craig Winston and Rishi Ling in duet performances with the vocal talents of Mark Winston, Jillian Krickl, and Laurie Michelle.

Craig Winston holds a Master of Music degree in classical guitar performance from the Lamont School of Music in Denver, CO. Mentored by Jonathan Leathwood, Laura Husbands, and Patrick Sutton, Craig has developed into an avid performer and instructor in Colorado and New Mexico. Beyond classical music, Craig has performed heavy metal, jazz, and musical theater. As an artist he seeks to combine this wide array of styles. In 2023 he founded Guitarra, Chitarra to bring unique guitar music to new audiences and students.
Mark Winston is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer from Las Vegas, NM. He earned his BA in Music from The University of Chicago, and AFA in Piano Performance and Music Technology from the City Colleges of Chicago. Mark has performed as baritone soloist for Bach’s St. Matthew and St. John Passions, Mozart’s “Great Mass” in C Minor and, most recently Bach’s Singet dem Herrn, Puccini’s Missa di Gloria and Mozart’s Regina Caeli with the Lamont Chorale, and Trotta’s Seven Last Words at Lincoln Center in New York. Mark is the leader of the Dead Superheroes Orchestra, and produces electronic music under the artist-name Quest Seeker. He is a candidate for the Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at the Lamont School of Music.
Rishi Ling is a guitarist and composer based in Denver, Colorado. He holds a M.M. in classical guitar performance at the Lamont School of Music where he studied with Jonathan Leathwood and Laura Husbands. For his graduate recital, he performed works by J. S. Bach, J. K. Mertz, Fernando Sor, Felix Mendelssohn, Manuel Ponce, and Roland Dyens. He is excited to share his love of diverse musical styles with you all today.
Jillian Krickl, soprano, began her choral singing career while she was an undergraduate at The University of Chicago. She has been a member of Holy Name Cathedral's all-professional Schola Cantorum Cathedralis since graduation. She also performs in Chicago and nationally with acclaimed groups as both a soloist and backup singer. When she is not singing, Jillian also enjoys travel, hiking, and “Better Call Saul” fandom.
Laurie Michelle is a Multi-Instrumentalist, Vocalist, and Singer-Songwriter from Salt Lake City, Utah, now active in Denver, CO. She began studying classical piano and violin since age 6 before pursuing a career as a vocalist across genres. She studied music composition, performance, and jazz at BYU and University of Utah. She has performed violin with the Utah Philharmonic and with many jazz, rock, and blues groups throughout Utah and Colorado. Laurie is best know for her solo work, for which she has released several recordings available on all music platforms. She is also the organizer of the Monthly Songwriter Showcase in Denver, which brings together the best local talent for a monthly night of music and community.
