working on my economy picking a lot lately. Also, obsessing over hammer ons and pull-offs. Don’t let your ego tell you that you need to always use ultra fast alternate picking to play cool licks. on a side note, I’m trying out some ultra light strings as I was getting some pain, possibly from playing too much blues and rock with Jazz Lights (.12-.52). I like the bends I get from these, but it definitely makes riffs like this one a bit harder to execute with the left hand because the strings jump all over the place.
